Refunds

Last Updated: 21st May 2026

We want JKBounce to genuinely help your workflow. If it doesn't, we'll refund you. This policy explains exactly when and how.

Our standard refund offer

New subscriptions

If you subscribe to JKBounce and decide it isn't right for you, you have 30 days from the date of your initial purchase to request a full refund, no questions asked. This applies regardless of how much you've used the Software during that period. We trust you.

Annual renewals

If your annual subscription auto-renews and you decide you no longer want it, you have 14 days from the renewal charge to request a full refund of that renewal.

Monthly renewals

Monthly subscriptions are not refunded after the first month. To stop billing, cancel your subscription through the FastSpring customer portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month and you will not be charged again.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer based in the UK or EU, you have additional rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and equivalent EU law:

- You have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of subscription purchase, even after you've started using the Software, with one exception: if you have actively used the Software to bounce audio during that period, we may treat that as a deliberate use of the digital content and the 14-day cancellation right may no longer apply (in line with regulation 37). Our 30-day no-questions refund offer above is more generous than this and applies regardless.

These statutory rights are in addition to, not in place of, our standard refund offer.

How to request a refund

Email support@jameskershawmusic.com with:

- The email address you used to purchase

- The order number or licence key (whichever you can find)

- A brief reason (optional)

We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and process the refund within 5 working days of acknowledgement. Refunds are issued by FastSpring to the original payment method. Depending on your card issuer, the refund may take a further 5-10 working days to appear on your statement.

What happens to your licence after a refund

When a refund is processed, your subscription is cancelled and your licence is deactivated. The Software will stop accepting your licence on next launch. Mix snapshot files (.jkbmix) and any bounces you have already created remain yours and are not affected.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline refund requests where:

- The request is made outside the windows described above

- We have reasonable grounds to believe the refund request is fraudulent

- The Software has been used in a way that breaches our Terms of Service

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. A chargeback initiated without a prior refund request to us can result in your licence being permanently disabled while the dispute is investigated. Almost all refund requests can be resolved by email more quickly than a chargeback.
